2008: First year…appeared in two matches in her first season…saw first collegiate action against Minnesota, Crookston on 9/14…saw game action as part of 3-0 win over Wayne State.
Before SCSU: 2008 graduate of Champlin Park High School…played for coach Meghann Green…a three-year letter winner on the soccer field where she was also All-Conference, MVP and a co-captain…won three letters in track and field as well.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Patti VanHoutan of Champlin Park, Minnesota…lists her sister as the person with the greatest influence on her career…says her greatest sports thrill as being the 11th shooter and having her penalty kick be the tournament winner…in her spare time she loves to teach soccer to her little brother…an education and Athletic training major.
