2009: Started all 20 games for the Huskies at the forward position...was named to the All-NSIC Honorable Mention Team…was second on the team with 14 points and scored five goals for the second straight season…was one of three players to record four assists…was third on the team with 43 shots, with 26 coming on goal…recorded two game-winning goals, with the first coming in the first game of the season in a 1-0 win over Southwest Minnesota State (08/30/09)…the second game-winner came in a 5-1 win over Northern State (10/24/09)…recorded a goal and an assist in back-to-back games against MSU Moorhead (10/02/09) and Minnesota, Crookston (10/04/09)…posted an assist and tied her own season-high of five shots in the first round of the NSIC tournament against Minnesota Duluth (11/06/10)…averaged 2.15 shots and .70 points a game.
2008: Sophomore season…played in all 18 games while starting 14…among the team leaders in goals all season long, finishing second with five goals…added one assist to finish fourth in scoring with 11 points…took 39 total shots and landed 16 on goal…in season opening 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on 8/30, led team with two shots on goal
and three total shots…netted two shots on goal and provided the Huskies only points with an unassisted tally in the 2-1 OT loss to Northern Michigan on 8/31…took two shots and landed one on net against Concordia-St. Paul…against Minnesota, Crookston had three shots, one goal, and one assist for three points in the Huskies 7-0 win…took a team-high seven shots and landed two on net versus Augustana…tallied two shots in 3-0 win over Wayne State…tallied one shot against #21 Minnesota State…tallied one shot against Southwest Minnesota State…took three shots and scored third goal of the season against Minnesota, Crookston…joined the team leaders and tied her career-high with forth goal of the season against MSU Moorhead…against Minnesota Duluth posted two shots on goal and scored the game-tying goal that sent the match into overtime where the Huskies won 3-2…scored a career season-high with five goals on the season…nabbed one shot against Bemidji State…tallied three shots, one on goal, in the 0-0 Homecoming tie with Upper Iowa…posted one shot against then #3 Winona State…took one shot against U-Mary…posted four shots and landed two on goal against Northern State…against Concordia in the season finale, landed only shot net.
2007: Won team’s Offensive Player of the Year award…capped successful first collegiate season by leading the team in points (11) and goals (4)…one of two SCSU players to start in and play all 19 matches…scored first career goal against Southwest Minnesota State in August…notched first game-winner against North Dakota October 5…first freshman to lead team in scoring since 2003.
Before SCSU: A four-year varsity award winner and three-year starter at Eden Prairie, where she played for Wayne Harrison...All-Conference Honorable mention notice in 2005 and 2006...as a senior, she helped her squad to a 16-4-1 record and second place at the MSHSL tournament...recorded 13 goals and 13 assists in 2006, and was named to the State All Tournament team....as a junior, Sather had 13 goals and four assists as Eden Prairie won the MSHSL championship with a 17-1-4 record....a member of the Plymouth Soccer Association (PSA), U18 Premier club squad...three-year starter on the Eden Prairie girls' basketball team...earned Ms. Defense honors twice at Eden Prairie and also gained All-Conference notice in 2005-06...as a member of her high school track team, Sather gained All-Conference and All-State honors.
Personal: She is the daughter of Tim and Ronni Sather of Eden Prairie....enjoys soccer, basketball, shopping and hanging out with friends...Pre-Physical Therapy major at SCSU.
