2008: Senior season…saw time in 12 contests…did not record any shots as a member of the record setting Husky defense…saw first action of the season against Northern Michigan…came off the bench against Concordia to aid a Husky defense that allowed a season low for shots on goal with two in a 1-0 win…against #18 Minnesota State in the NSIC Tournament helped the Husky defense hold MSU to just five shots on goal.
2007: One of only two Huskies to play in and start all 19 games…managed two shots from the Husky backline.
2006: Saw action in 10 games during first year at SCSU, including last six games of the season for the Huskies.
Before SCSU: 2006 graduate of Burnsville H.S...a three-year letter winner...Powell helped lead her team as the 2002 and 2003 Lake Conference Champions...named 2004 Lake Conference Honorable Mention and served as team captain...nine-year member of the Burnsville Fire Soccer Club...served as captain for five years on club team...member of the U16 and U17 state tournament second place teams, where she won Premier status...youth soccer coach.
Personal: Daughter of Duke and Julie Powell of Burnsville, Minnesota...criminal justice law enforcement major at SCSU.
