Before SCSU: 2006 graduate of Burnsville H.S...a three-year letter winner...Powell helped lead her team as the 2002 and 2003 Lake Conference Champions...named 2004 Lake Conference Honorable Mention and served as team captain...nine-year member of the Burnsville Fire Soccer Club...served as captain for five years on club team...member of the U16 and U17 state tournament second place teams, where she won Premier status...youth soccer coach.
Personal: Nursing major at SCSU...enjoys fishing, volunteering, rollerblading, tennis, bingo, the cabin and trapshooting.
