Before SCSU: A four-year varsity award and defender at Blaine, where she played for coach John Schlictmann...gained All-Conference notice in 2004,
2005 and 2006...named Best Defensive Player award and served as a teamn captain as a junior and senior...in 2003, Pafko gained her squad¹s Most Improved Player award...'A' Honor Roll student ...played club soccer with the Andover Invaders and Coach Berry Arrowsmith...played four years of varsity hockey. She also gained the Hobey Baker High School Character award at Blaine...four-year member of the Blaine High School track and field squad.
Personal: Parents are Jay and Debora Pafko of Blaine...computer science major at SCSU...Of note, Pafko's great uncle is baseball legend Andy Pafko, who played in the major leagues with Chicago, and Brooklyn and Milwaukee. He played in four World Series and four All-Star games and was in left field for Brooklyn when Bobby Thompson hit "the shot heard around the world"...enjoys being with family and friends, shopping and being outside.
