2009: Junior season...team captain…started and played in all 20 games for SCSU…named to the All-NSIC Third Team…was named the team's Most Consistent Performer…named to the All-NSIC Academic team in the Fall…tied for third on the team with 12 points…second on the team and tied for eighth in the conference with six assists…tied for fourth with four goals…took 25 shots, with 10 shots coming on net…was the only Husky to attempt a penalty kick in 2009 in a 1-0 win over the University of Mary (10/25/09)…finished season with a .400 shot-on-goal percentage…recorded her first point with an assist in a 1-1 tie against CSU-Pueblo (09/06/10)…scored her first goal of the season in the next game against Augustana College (09/11/09)…recorded a season-high two assists against Wayne State (09/19/09)…scored three points with a goal and an assist against Northern State (10/24/09)…averaged 1.25 shots and .60 points a game.
2008: Sophomore season.…played in 16 games with 11 starts…finished with one assist and 21 shots on the
season…started in the season opener and took two shots in 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on 8/30…tallied one shot against Concordia-St. Paul…took one shot in 7-0 win over Minnesota, Crookston…tallied one shot in 1-0 loss to Augie…took two shots (one on goal) in 3-0 win over Wayne State…recorded one shot against #21 Minnesota State…posted three shots (one on goal) against Southwest Minnesota on 9/28…tied career highs with an assist and three shots against Minnesota, Crookston…notched one shot on goal against MSU Moorhead…took one shot against Upper Iowa…posted one shot against then #3 Winona State…recorded three shots against U-Mary…started in the NSIC Tournament against #18 Minnesota State and landed the only shot she took on goal.
2007: Tied for second on the team with three goals...tied for third on the squad with seven points (3g/1a)…recorded game winning goal against South Dakota September 16...it was also her first career goal…also had goals at North Dakota and at South Dakota…played in all 19 games, starting 16...was named team Rookie of the Year.
Before SCSU: A four-year varsity award winner at Silver Creek High School...served as a team captain in 2006 and 2007...gained All-Conference Honorable Mention notice three times during her high school career and also earned her team¹s Coaches¹ Award and Boot Award...Najera received Academic All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades in 2006...in addition to her accomplishments at Silver Creek High School, Najera played club soccer for the Broomfield Blast.
