2008: Junior season.…Team Captain…named NSIC Defensive Player of the week following performance against UMC and MSUM which included 0 GA, and 17 total saves as she led SCSU to their first weekend sweep of the season…broke her own school record with a 1.06 season GAA, and currently holds the SCSU career record for career GAA at 1.45…led SCSU defense to team records of 1.13 GAA, 21 goals allowed, and seven shutouts…four individual shutouts ranks sixth all-time as SCSU…eight wins on the season is the third best mark in school history…save percentage of .838 is fourth best season at SCSU…currently sits third all-time in career minutes played with 3,674, just 779 away from the leader…on the career charts is currently third in save percentage with an all-time mark of .812 and fourth in wins (16) and saves (286)…posted career bests with 16 GA and an 8-6-2 record, doubling her career win total…tabbed 83 total saves while playing 1358:19 in the net…in all games NSIC ranks included sixth in shutouts (4), seventh in GAA (1.06), and eighth in save percentage (.838)…posted even better marks league play ranking third in shutouts (4), fifth in save percentage (.868) and sixth in GAA (0.91)…played in 17 games while starting 16…in the season opener collected five saves in 2-1 win over Minnesota Duluth on 8/30…netted five saves but suffered the 2-1 OT loss to Northern Michigan on 8/31…gave up two goals in 54:17 against Concordia-St. Paul on 9/10…stopped the only two shots she saw, playing the first half of a 7-0 rout of Minnesota, Crookston…suffered 1-0 loss to Augustana, giving up only goal with just three minutes left to play…played 70:53 recording four saves in 3-0 win over Wayne State…played 60:35 against #21 Minnesota State tallying three saves while giving up three goals…played all 90 minutes against Southwest Minnesota on 9/28, gaining four saves en route to her first shutout of the season…pitched a first half shutout against Minnesota, Crookston with three saves to earn her fifth win of the season and se t a new career high in the category…had most impressive day of the season racking up 14 saves to earn her second shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over MSU Moorhead…played 94:36 and tallied seven stops as SCSU came back to beat Minnesota Duluth in OT 3-2…suffered her fifth loss giving up two goals (one on a penalty kick) in a 2-1 loss to Bemidji State…played 110 minutes of shutout soccer against Upper Iowa on Homecoming to preserve a 0-0 tie and earn her third shutout of the season while tallying her second best game of the season with eight saves…played the second half against U-Mary on Oct. 25, and posted a shutout in the period while making seven saves in just 45:00 minutes…played entire 110:00 minutes of 2-2 double OT tie with Northern State, tallying seven saves in her third consecutive match…played full 90:00 minutes in the season finale and pitched her fourth shutout of the season, tallying two saves in the 1-0 win…played 90:00 minutes against #18 Minnesota State in the NSIC Tournament making four saves and allowing just a second half corner kick to get past her as the Huskies fell 1-0 to end their season.
2007: Shared the SCSU Most Valuable Teammate award…won two straight NCC Player of the Week awards on September 5 and 11…was the Huskies primary goalkeeper, racking up a 4-11-2 record…set the school record for single season goals against average with a 1.52 mark…had a save percentage of .809, which was good for third all time at SCSU…had eight or more saves in nine games, with exactly eight saves in each of her last four games…allowed a goal or less in 10 of 17 games.
2006: Named 2006 North Central Conference Rookie of the Year...All-NCC Second Team...SCSU Rookie of the Year...led league in saves per game at 8.29 spg...1.81 overall goals against average...started 10 games for SCSU and posted 4-7-2 record...gained a .795 save rate in 2007...in NCC games, Kelly ranked fourth in the league with a .811 save rate...posted three shutouts as a freshman at SCSU.
Before SCSU: A 2006 graduate of Marian High...played for coach Ed Dudley...three-year starter...charted a .77 goals against average in 2005...part of state title team in 2003...four-year varsity letter winner also plays for the Gladiator Kologne club under Doug Trenerry...her club team is a two-time state champion and has placed third at the regional tournament...served as team captain for both her high school and club teams...a two-year varsity award winner in basketball and served as team captain...member of the NHS, Mu Alpha Theta and Who¹s Who Among High School Students.
