NORDIC SKI: SCSU Adds Date to 2008-09 Schedule

The SCSU nordic ski team has added a new date to its 2008-09 schedule. On Sunday, Jan. 11, the Huskies will travel to the Saints Invitational in Collegeville, Minn. The meet will be hosted by St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict and it is slated to start at 1 p.m. on the trails at the SJU campus.
Of note, the Huskies are fresh from a trip to the U.S. Cross Country Ski championships in Anchorage, Alaska. Cold weather in Alaska forced the cancellation of much of the championships, but the Huskies did manage to compete in one race up north on Jan. 5.
