NORDIC SKI: Huskies Finish Fourth in MN College Championships

The St. Cloud State University nordic ski team gained a fourth place finish in the 2012 Minnesota College Nordic Ski Championships on Jan. 28-29. The championship was part of the Battle Creek SuperTour event on the trails at the Green Acres Rec Area in Lake Elmo, Minn.

The St. Cloud State nordic ski team competed at the prestigious Mayor's Challenge in Minneapolis on Jan. 21 and 22. In the first day of competition on the 5K classic course, Hannah Sanborn led the Huskies with a time of 20:53 that was good for a 78th place overall.

Coleraine, Minn. - The St. Cloud State nordic ski team completed its weekend up north with the 1.4K College of St. Scholastica Classic Sprint race on Jan. 15. The race was held at the Mt. Itasca course in Coleraine, Minn. The event began on Jan. 14 with the freestyle races at Mt. Itasca.

The St. Cloud State Nordic Ski team competed at the St. Scholastica Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 14. The first day of the two-day meet was held on the course at Mt. Itasca in Coleraine, Minn. The race on Jan. 14 consisted of a 4.7 kilometer freestyle race.
