Jenny Beckman is a 2007 graduate of Maple Grove High School, where earned a total of 14 athletic letters in cross country, Nordic ski and track and field. A two-time state qualifier in Nordic ski, Beckman served as a team captain for Maple Grove's Nordic ski team. She gained All-Conference honors in 2005-06 and All-Conference honorable mention in 2004-05. She earned her team's Rookie of the Year award in 2002-03 and was named Maple Grove¹s most improved skier in 2005-06.
An honor roll student, Beckman also participated in orchestra at Maple Grove High School. Beckman is a communications studies major at SCSU, and she was named to the Student-Athlete Honor Roll in 2007-08.
