Willis is a 2007 graduate of Irondale High School, where she gained two letters in Nordic ski. A team captain at Irondale, Willis earned All-Conference honorable mention in 2006-07 and was also selected to the Academic All-Conference squad and received a Distinguished Academic award.
She received one letter in cross country, and was named Academic All-Conference and a Distinguished Academic award winner in that sport. Willis was named Irondale¹s Most Improved Athlete in Cross Country.
An honor roll student and Academic letterwinner at Irondale, Willis intends to major in English at St. Cloud State University.
