Rentz is a 2006 graduate of St. Cloud Cathedral High School where was coached by Joe Teff and Phil Rojocheski. She gained four varsity letters in Nordic ski and two letters in soccer, and helped CHS win two section championships in soccer, the second of which resulted in a third place finish at the MSHSL State Tournament her senior year.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, fishing with her dad, reading, discovering new music, thrift store shopping with her sister and the occasional extreme ironing session. She is the daughter of Thomas and Carol Rentz of St. Cloud and is a business management major and mass communication minor at SCSU.
