On Saturday, Oct. 24, sophomore goaltender Tayler VanDenakker (Winnipeg, Manitoba) earned the start between the pipes for the Huskies and charted 13 saves and four goals against in the first period before Nixon came in for VanDenakker’s relief. VanDenakker posted 13 saves in the loss, falling to 0-3-0 on the season. HUSKY PLUS: St. Cloud State’s Caitlin Hogan (Oakdale), Holly Roberts (St. Cloud) and Diana Karouzos (Chicago, Ill.) are all a “plus” this season on the plus/minus chart.
