LEAGUE PLAYOFF INFORMATION

This past weekend on Feb. 20-22, the last of the regular season, proved to be the deciding weekend for the fifth place team in the league. The University of North Dakota headed into the weekend in fifth place with a four-point lead over Minnesota State. MSU came up with a huge sweep over Ohio State on the road to gain four league points, and UND suffered a sweep to Minnesota Duluth, thus sending UND and MSU into a tie for fifth place in the league. After comparing head-to-head competition during the regular (conference) season, Minnesota State won the tie-breaker, which results in St. Cloud State hosting the Mavericks.
