WOMEN'S HOCKEY: CIC Golf Outing A Success

The 2008 Center Ice Club Women's Hockey Golf Tournament, held on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids, was a success as 80 golfers participated in the best-ball scramble event.
"We had a great turn out for the golf tournament and a beautiful day for the event," said SCSU's head coach Jeff Giesen. "I'd like to personally thank all the hole sponsors and participants for their support of the SCSU women's hockey program."
The 2008-09 edition of St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey will take to the ice for the first time on Sept. 27, as the Huskies open the season with an exhibition tilt with the University of Saskatchewan at 3:07 p.m. in the National Hockey Center.
