2010-11: Appeared in all 35 games for the Huskies during her sophomore stint…dished out three assists…14/28 PIM…-30 plus/minus…tabbed a season best two-point game at North Dakota on Nov. 19 with two assists…fired off a season-high four shots against Ohio State on Jan. 28 in the National Hockey Center…landed on All-WCHA Academic Team.

2009-10: Appeared in 35 games for the Huskies during her rookie stint…charted first career point on Oct. 2 with an assist against Niagara University in the National Hockey Center…added assists against Mercyhurst (Jan. 3) and Bemidji State (Feb. 27) to total three helpers on the season…fired off a career-high three shots against Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 7 in the NHC…was 8-16 in PIM and -5 in the plus/minus department.

Before SCSU: Allen served as a team captain for two seasons with the Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs, a midget team in the Alberta Major Midget Female League…with the Sutter Fund Chiefs, Allen landed on the 2007-08 All-Star Second Team at the Mac’s Tournament…helping lead her squad to the Alberta Major Midget Female League Championship in 2007-08, the blue-liner was also a silver medalist at the Western Canadian Championships and at the prestigious Mac’s Tournament…in high school, Allen also participated in rugby for the Notre Dame Cougars.

Personal: The daughter of Mark and Patricia Allen, Katie has also participated on the U-18 Alberta Team and was also one of 12 defenders invited to Canada’s National Women’s U-18 team selection camp.
