2008-09: Earned WCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors on Nov. 19 for four point weekend (1-3) at Minnesota State…set Husky single season record for defenseman assists with 18, also leading the team in that category…had six game point streak from Nov. 1-21 in which she scored nine points (1-8)…scored first goal of season in shorthanded and game-winning fashion against Brown on Oct. 24…had an assist in each game of opening series at Quinnipiac…added an assist on Nov. 1 against Minnesota…recorded three-point weekend on Jan. 9-10 against North Dakota with three assists in two games…broke out of four game pointless streak with assist on Feb. 6 against Minnesota State…played in 34 games and fired off 68 shots…was -6 on the plus/minus and 25-50 in PIM.

2007-08: Finished the season tied for the team lead in assists with 16…scored her first career goal at North Dakota on Feb. 8…played in all 38 games for the Huskies…notched three multi-assist games, earning playmaker awards against Vermont on Jan. 18 and Ohio State on Mar. 2…second on the team in PIM with 22-52…concluded the year with a +1 on the +/-…named to the WCHA All-Academic Team.

2006-07: Played in 35 games as a freshman and posted three assists...tallied first collegiate point against Ohio State on Oct. 20, 2006 in the NHC...was -2 on the season and led the team in PIM with 30/74.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Shattuck St. Mary’s High School...coached by Gordy Stafford...a three-sport athlete in high school...five-time letterwinner in high school hockey and team captain senior season...lettered in golf and in lacrosse twice...participated in the hockey selects camp at Lake Placid in 2004 and 2005...named Best All-Around Athlete in 2001-2002...senior season tallied 9 goals and 37 assists in 69 games played...holds the defensive scoring record at SSM.

PERSONAL: Born on 4/18/88...Daughter of David and Bonnie Hirsch of Bloomington, MN ... says her father and brother have had the greatest influence on her career...named to academic honor roll...greatest sports thrill was winning a National Championship last spring with Shattuck St. Mary’s at the U19 level...served as a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
