2008-09: Set all-time Husky record for most career games played with 147, missing just two in her games in her four-year stint…had stretch of six of seven games with at least one point (3-3) from Jan. 24 to Feb. 14…that run included four straight games with a point…posted three straight games with an assist earlier in season from Nov. 9 to Nov. 15… had two power play goals and one shorthanded effort…finished -8 on the plus/minus and 10/20 in PIM…played in all 37 games, attempting 90 shots.

2007-08: Recorded a career high in points with 17, doubling her goal total from a year ago with 10…named WCHA’s Offensive Player of the Week for the weekend of Nov. 9 and 10…played in 37 games this season for the Huskies…had two multi-point games, with a goal and two assists at Boston U. on Nov. 17 and a two goal game against North Dakota on Nov. 9…tallied four power play goals…was -11 on the +/-…15-30 in PIM…on the WCHA’s All-Academic Team.

2006-07: Played in 36 games as a sophomore...charted 11 points (5g, 6a)...was -5 on the season and 5/10 in PIM...scored two points (1g, 1a) against Minnesota on Feb. 3, 2007 in the NHC...tallied one power play goal on the season against OSU on 10/20/06, which proved to be the game-winning goal...gained All-WCHA Academic honors.

2005-06: In her freshman season, Nixon netted three goals and four assists...notched her first career goal against North Dakota on Nov. 12, 2005...is 10-20 in PIM...scored the game-winning goal against OSU on March 4 in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs to send the Huskies to the WCHA Semifinals for  the first time in school history.

PRIOR TO SCSU: A two-sport athlete and 2005 graduate of Blaine High School ...is second all-time leading scorer in hockey at Blaine HS after lettering six times...coached by Steve Guider...named Rookie of the Year...named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference team....three-time All-Conference recipient...two-time All-State player... named team MVP and two-time outstanding offensive player for the BHS Bengals...team captain...helped lead her team to three conference titles...two-time Lake Placid selection...two-time letterwinner in tennis...team captain.

PERSONAL:  Daughter of Scott and Mary Nixon of Blaine, MN...born on 2/26/87...her coach, Steve Guider, and her family have had the most influence on her career...played in 162 prep hockey games and scored a total of 243 points...describes her greatest sports thrill as playing in the State Tournament as an 8th grader...her sister Ashley is a sophomore goaltender on the 2008-09 Husky squad...a marketing major at SCSU.
