2007-08: Voted team’s Most Improved Player...saw the ice in 19 games during her freshman campaign…played in the team’s last 15 games of the season…went -9 on the +/-…served eight minutes in the penalty box on four penalties…had eight shots.
BEFORE SCSU: A 2007 graduate of Black River Falls High School…coached by Tony Rieck…three-time letter winner for the Black River Falls High School Boys’ team… hockey team captain...member of the Wisconsin Wild AAA Hockey team since 2002…notched State Championships in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006 with the Wisconsin Wild… helped lead the Wisconsin Wild to Central District Championships in 2004 and 2006…has been invited to the USA Development Camps in Lake Placid, N.Y. in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007…team captain…All-Conference pick in volleyball and three-time All-Conference choice in softball.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Steve and Roxanne Mickelson…native of Hixton, Wisc. …says her parents have had the greatest influence on her hockey career...born on March 7, 1989.
