2010-11: Completed collegiate career with a goal against Wisconsin on Dec. 11 in the National Hockey Center…fired off a season-high four shots at Bemidji State on Oct. 30…played in all 35 games during senior stint…posted three points (2g, 1a) in 113 career games played…voted teams’s Co-Most Dedicated Player…landed on the WCHA Scholar-Athlete and All-WCHA Academic squads for the third consecutive season.
2009-10: Dressed for 33 of the 37 games in 2009-10…fired off 14 shots during her junior stint…was 4-8 in PIM and -5 in plus/minus…had a season-high three shots against Ohio State on Dec. 12…named to the WCHA Scholar Athlete team for the second time in her career…garnered All-WCHA Academic honors for the second time in her collegiate career.
2008-09: Was a WCHA Scholar Athlete…first career assist and first point of the season came in her hometown of Bemidji against the Beavers on Feb. 13…played in all 37 games…fired off 15 shots on the year…went -5 on the season with 4/8 in PIM.
2007-08: Scored first career goal at Minnesota on Feb. 16…was +2 against Vermont on Jan. 19…skated in eight games for the Huskies… finished her season -2 on the +/-.
BEFORE SCSU: Graduated from Bemidji High School in 2007…a three-sport athlete… scored 110 points during prep career at BHS…during senior season, she and her line mates broke the BHS line record, attaining over 150 points in a single season…a two-time All-Greater Minnesota Conference hockey player and a two-year team captain… three-time letter winner in soccer and softball…in soccer, Josefson was named to the All-Conference team three times and was a team captain…voted team’s Most Improved Player two years in soccer …chosen by her teammates as the 2007 Team Most Valuable Defender in soccer… named softball Rookie of the Year in 2004.
PERSONAL: Honors student at Bemidji High School…parents are Paul and Jane Josefson…named to 2007 All-State Academic Hockey Team… three-time academic letter winner at BHS…member of the National Honor Society…pursuing a degree in health and physical education at SCSU.
