2007-08: Played in 17 games for the Huskies during her first year slate…scored her first career goal and point at Bemidji State on Dec. 9, which also was the game-winner…recorded first career assist Jan. 19 against Vermont at the NHC…ended the season -4 on the +/-…1-2 in PIM…rattled off seven shots on the season.
BEFORE SCSU: Graduated from Park Center High School in 2007…coached by Matt Mattson, Terry Westerman and Jack Gravel during prep career…four-time All-Conference player…lettered four times in hockey for the Pirates…named a KARE 11 Athlete of the Week…voted team’s Most Valuable Player the past four seasons…. member of the 2007 Minnesota State High School hockey runner up team...named to the 2007 Minnesota State High School League All-Tournament team team captain for three years…invited to the USA Hockey Player Development camps in Lake Placid, N.Y., four times…letter winner in volleyball, golf and track.
PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 1, 1989…parents are Steve and Babette Anderson…lists Krissy Wendell as the person with the greatest influence on her career…honor roll student….member of the Student Advisory Council …will major in physical education with an athletic coaching minor.
