EASTON HOLIDAY SHOWCASE: There were four women's hockey games played during the 2010 Easton Holiday Showcase on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 2-3.

The Huskies entertained league rival Minnesota State, Providence College and No. 1-ranked Mercyhurst College in the two-day Showcase at the National Hockey Center.

Mercyhurst garnered an 8-2 win over Minnesota State to open the Showcase on Saturday. St. Cloud State came back to tie the game at 4-4 against Providence in the second game of the Showcase and send the game into overtime. After a scoreless OT period, the Huskies were victorious in the shootout, 1-0 in the fourth round, as senior forward Caitlin Hogan notched the lone goal of the shootout.

The following day on Sunday, PC defeated MSU 2-0 and SCSU handed MC just its second overtime tie of the season at 4-4. MC was victorious in the shootout, 2-1 in three rounds.
