2008-09: Zabkowicz played in 29 games for the Huskies in his freshman season... charted first career point as a collegiate player with an assist against Minnesota on Oct. 17, at the NHC...scored first career goal at North Dakota on Dec. 12.
Prior to SCSU: A 2005 graduate of Culver Military Academy...lettered in hockey and lacrosse at Culver, which is the same school where SCSU’s Matt Chapman attended...played junior hockey with Texarkana (NAHL) in 2005-06...played for the Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL) in 2006-07 and 2007-08.
Personal: Born June 2, 1987...parents are John and Dawn Zabkowicz of Greendale...older brother Tom Zabkowicz played college hokey at Maine...enjoys fishing, music and watching soccer.
