2007-08: Ammerman posted two assists during his sophomore season at SCSU, with points against North Dakota (Jan. 4) and Minnesota (Jan. 12)...named SCSU’s Brendan J. and Vernie McDonald Award winner for team’s top student-athlete...2008 All-WCHA Academic selection...named a 2008 WCHA Scholar-Athlete.
2006-07: Ammerman played in 14 games for the Huskies during his freshman season...hit first career point as a collegiate player with an assist against Minnesota Duluth on Jan. 20, at the NHC.
Prior to SCSU: A 2005 graduate of Moorhead Senior High School, Ammerman played junior hockey with Indiana and Tri-City of the USHL during the2005-06 season...played high school hockey for coach Dave Morinville at Moorhead...earned three letters in hockey...two-time All-Conference and two-time All-State Tournament team selection...played in three state tournaments and two MSHSL state hockey championship games during prep career...played for USA National U17 team during summer of 2003...earned three academic letters in high school.
