PLAYER INFORMATION

2008-09: Weslosky played in 33 of 38 games for St. Cloud State during his junior season...landed two shutouts in play against Robert Morris and North Dakota...finished season with a 2.70 GAA and .913 save percentage...finished the year with a record of 16-13-2...stopped a season high 40 shots twice, both times against conference opponents.

2007-08:  Set team records in 2007-08 with 2.11 GAA and .931 save rate...charted three shutouts in play against Canisius, Michigan Tech and playoff win over Wisconsin...two-time WCHA Defensive Player of the Week in 2007-08...hit career high with 46 saves in OT playoff win over Wisconsin on Mar. 15...ranked fourth in nation for save percentage (.931) and 11th for goal against average (2.11)...started final 14 games of 2007-08 season.

2006-07:  In his first season with the Huskies, Weslosky saw ice time in six games and posted an impressive 5-1-0 record...gained first collegiate shutout with a 4-0 win over Clarkson on Nov. 17, at the National Hockey Center...also posted wins over Minnesota State, Colgate, Alaska Anchorage and Minnesota Duluth...won first five starts as a college netminder.

Prior to SCSU:  A 2006 graduate of St. Albert Catholic High School...selected in the 2006 NHL entry draft by the New York Islanders (round four, 108th pick)...played for Sherwood Park in the AJHL during the 2005-06 season....posted 2.11 goals against average and a .910 save rate in 2005-06...attended Islanders prospect camp...earned Rutherford Scholarship in high school.

Personal:  Born Aug. 14, 1988...sports and recreation management major at SCSU...the son of Sheila Butlin of Edmonton, Alberta...enjoys movies, poker, sleeping and video games.
