2006-07: Dey charted career numbers as a junior with 10
goals, 22 assists and 32 points to his credit...scored career-high four points
(2g/2a) in win over Clarkson on Nov. 18, 2006...had nine multi-point games in
2006-07...had two assists apiece in games against Denver (twice), Clarkson
(twice) and North Dakota...will serve as an alternate captain in 2007-08...named
MVP of 2006 Catamount Cup tournament, after he scored two goals vs. Vermont in
title game.
2005-06: Dey played in 40 games as a
sophomore and posted five goals and nine assists...had one goals and one assist
in tie versus Michigan Tech on Feb. 25,
2005...had
one goal and two assists in WCHA post-season play in 2005-06...had GWG against
Minnesota Duluth at WCHA Final Five.
2004-05: Dey posted
impressive rookie numbers with five goals and seven assists, and was one of only
three Huskies to play in all 40 games in 2004-05...named SCSU’s 2005 Roland
Vandell Award(rookie of the year) winner...had two multi-point games, with one
goal and one assist against Michigan Tech (Nov. 12) and Sacred Heart (Jan.
28)...scored short-handed goal vs. Sacred Heart...68 shots on goal...first
career assist came against NMU on Oct. 16...first career goal was posted at
Princeton on Oct. 29.
Prior to SCSU: USHL All-Star with
Green Bay Gambles in 2003-04 ... had 20 goals and 16 assists in 2003-04...2003
graduate of North?St. Paul H.S., where he played for coach Jerry Dieble...first
Mr. Hockey award winner to play at SCSU, Dey received state’s top prep hockey
honor in 2003...All-State and All-Conference award winner at North?St.
Paul...lettered in soccer and baseball...All-Conference award winner in
soccer.
Personal: Born Feb. 14, 1985...son of Peter and
Roxanne Dey of Maplewood...finance major at SCSU...enjoys fishing...younger
sister Stacy Dey plays for SCSU women’s team...shoots right.
