Prior to SCSU: A 209 graduate of Roseau High School, where he played under coach Scott Oliver...a two-year hockey letter winner...earned All State honors...helped Roseau to win 2007 High School State Championship...two year letter winner in football for the Rams...member of All Conference Team...one year letter winner in baseball...last year while playing for the Fargo Force in the USHL, Lee played in 48 games, posting a 2.40 GAA and .918 save percentage, while going 26-15-4...named USHL Goalie of the Year and USA Hockey Junior Hockey Goalie of the Year in 2009...drafted in third round by Phoenix Coyotes of 2009 NHL entry draft (91st pick)...participant in the U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp for 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championships in Saskatoon and Regina, Sask.
