PLAYER INFORMATION
2006-07: Swanson scored 23 points during his sophomore season,
which included nine goals and 14 assists...had five multi-point games, including
two points apiece against Minnesota (twice), Alaska Anchorage, Wisconsin and
Denver...scored one goal and five assists in play against Minnesota during
2006-07 season.
2005-06: Swanson played in 38 games during his
rookie season with five goals and five assists to his credit...notched three
power play goals and one game winning goal...scored two goals (both on the
advantage in win over Alaska Anchorage on Feb. 4, 2006 at the NHC...scored first
career goal on Nov. 18, 2005 at NHC against North Dakota...added first career
assist on Oct. 29, 2005 at the NHC against Minnesota...had one goal and one
assist at Colgate on Jan. 7, 2006.
Prior to SCSU: A
resident of St. Cloud, Swanson is a 2004 graduate of Tech High School, where he
played for coach Chad Hommerding...a three-time hockey letterwinner at Tech,
Swanson gained All-Conference honors with the Tigers and netted 126 points
during his career. He led Tech to a conference title, served as a team captain
and also was named the St. Cloud Times Player of the Year...in 2004-05, Swanson
started the season with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL (6g5a) but was traded to
Chicago (7g/13a) during the season...in 2003-04 Swanson had 5-2-7 in 16 games
for Lincoln and he also competed in the Midwest High School Elite
League.

left...the son of Joe Swanson of Big Lake and Katie Swanson of St.
Cloud...marketing major at SCSU...enjoys golfing, fishing and tennis.
