Prior to SCSU: A 2008 graduate of Armstrong H.S....Thorson earned four varsity letters in hockey and also gained All-Conference honors in 2008, 2007 and 2006 at Armstrong...charted 51g/50a during his prep hockey career...played two seasons of junior hockey with the Owatonna Express of the NAHL in 2008-09 and 2009-10...led Owatonna with 56 points (25g/31a) in 2009-10...named as one of the NAHL’s Junior Hockey Player of the Year nominees in 2009-10.
Personal: Born July 4, 1990...son of Ben and Gloria Thorson of Crystal...enjoys fishing and golf...business management major at SCSU.
