PLAYER INFORMATION

2010-11: Played in 37 games for the Huskies during sophomore year... career high 13 goals in 2010-11... also contributed with seven assists... scored the game winning goal in the season-opener versus RIT... recorded a hat-trick on Nov. 5 against Bemidji State... had a two-goal performance Feb. 11 at UMD... named to the All-WCHA Academic team...will serve as a team captain in 2011-12

2009-10: Hanowski made a quick impact at SCSU with nine goals and 10 assists during his freshman season...scored four PPGs in 2009-10...first collegiate point was an assist vs. Union on Oct. 17 at the NHC...first two goals of college career came against UMD on Oct. 23 at the NHC...posted three points (1g/2a) against Brown on Jan. 3...scored goal in playoff action against MSU on Mar. 12 at the NHC...played in all 43 games during 2009-10 season...also had two helpers in victory at Quinnipiac on Jan. 16.

Prior to SCSU:   A 2009 graduate of Little Falls High School, where he played for coach Tony Couture...a four-year hockey letter winner...was a Mr. Hockey finalist in 2009...selected as the Associated Press Hockey Player of the Year for 2009...earned four letters in baseball, while being named All-Conference and All State four times...in four years prior to attending SCSU, Hanowski posted 196 goals and 209 assists in 117 games becoming the most prolific scorer in Minnesota High School history with 405 points...draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins (3rd round) in the 2009 NHL entry draft.
