2006-07: Nodl was named the Hockey Commissioners’ Association National Division I Rookie of the Year for 2007...became first SCSU player to gain WCHA Rookie of the Year honors for his play in 2006-07...All-WCHA Third Team selection...WCHA Rookie of the Week honoree on Oct. 16, 2006...HCA Division I Rookie of Andreas Nodlthe Month for Jan. 2007...ranked first in the WCHA and second among NCAA Division I rookies for scoring at 1.15 ppg (overall games)...placed third in WCHA scoring race (overall games) with 46 points (18g/28a)...set SCSU record for most points by a first year player...led team in scoring and tied team record with five game winning goals this season...Nodl had 16 multi-point games in 2006-07, including four-point night against Clarkson (1g/3a) on Nov. 18...scored seven points in first three games as a college player...scored two goals at 2007 WCHA Final Five...chalked up game winning goal against UMD on March 11, which ended the longest game in team history at 111:33 minutes played.

Prior to SCSU:  Played for past two seasons with Sioux Falls of the USHL...named All-USHL first team in 2005-06...selected as the MVP of 2006 USHL All-Star game...posted 36 goals and 39 assists during career at Sioux Falls...helped lead Sioux Falls to the Clark Cup finals in 2005-06, as he posted 29 goals and 30 assists...a 2006 graduate of O’Gorman High School.

Personal:  Born Feb. 28, 1987...son of Brigitte Nodl of Vienna, Austria...sport management major at SCSU...enjoys ping-pong, golfing, tennis and soccer.
