2009-10: An alternate captain for the Huskies in 2009-10...Marvin gained All-WCHA Academic notice in 2010...he posted 5 goals and 11 assists in 39 games as a junior, which included a +4 rating on the plus/minus...scored two goals apiece in wins over UAA on Dec. 5 and Feb. 6...added 3 assists in win at CC on Jan. 29...scored a shorthanded game-winner against UAA on Dec. 5.

2008-09: Marvin suited up in all 38 games for the Huskies during his sophomore campaign...finished the season with a +8, charting seven multi-point games...scored a season high three points against Robert Morris on Nov. 8 at the NHC... ended season with 27 points (10g/17a)...earned All-WCHA Academic honors in 2008-09.

2007-08:  Named team’s William Radovich award winner in 2007-08 for Most Improved Player...played in all 40 games as a freshman...scored first college goal at Wisconsin on Dec. 1...named WCHA Rookie of the Week for three assist weekend at Alaska Anchorage...posted first career assist in first career game against Canisius on Oct. 12...led team at +5.

Prior to SCSU:  A 2007 graduate of Warroad H.S...four-year letterwinner in hockey at Warroad...two-time Alll-Section and All-Conference award winner...helped Warroad win state title in 2005...three-time letterwinner in cross country and All-Conference recipient...drafted by Calgary Flames in 2007 NHL draft (third round, 89th overall pick)...finished the 2006-07 season with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL, posted one goal and three assists in 13 games.

Personal:  Born May 27, 1988...parents are Mike and Connie Marvin of Warroad...National Honor Society in high school...business management major; real estate minor at SCSU...older sister (Gigi) played college hockey at Minnesota and was on 2010 USA Olympic squad in Vancouver...grandfather, Cal, was inducted into U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame...his dad played college hockey at Brown...enjoys fishing.
