NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover: First Day
MEN'S GOLF: Huskies in 8th After First Round

Gothenburg, Neb. -- The St. Cloud State men's golf team is in eighth place following the first round of the NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover being played at Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg, Neb., today and Monday. The second round was underway later Sunday and the results were not available.
The HUskies shot a team score of 318 on the par 72 track in Sunday's first round. Senior Evan Peters (Glenwood) is tied for 13th after shooting a 77. Sophomore Beau Anderson (Cottage Grove) and first year Billy Barnhart (Cottage Grove) are tied for 32nd after rounds of 79. Sophomore Jordan Dickey (Faribault) is tied for 56th with an 83 and junior Alex Dawald (Ortonville) is tied for 77th with an 87.
Seventeen teams are competing in the 54-hole event. Minnesota State University, Mankato and Concordia University, St. Paul are the first round co-leaders with team scores of 305. Brady Strangstalien of Winona State is the individual first round leader as he shot a one under par 71.
