MEN'S GOLF: Evan Peters Tops Leaderboard Heading into Final Round of NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover

Gothenburg, NE -- St. Cloud State senior golfer Evan Peters (Glenwood) is one of three players tied for the lead heading into today's final round (currently underway) of the NSIC/RMAC Regional Crossover. The 54-hole event is being played at the Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothernburg, NE.
As a team the Huskies are tied for sixth place through 36 holes with a team score of 318-317=635. Colorado School of Mines (308-312-620) is the team leader by one stroke over Minnesota State University, Mankato (305-316-621).
Peters shot a five over par 77 in the first round played Sunday, and came back with a one over par 73 in Sunday's second round and is tied with Brady Strangstalien of Winona State and Bryant Black of Minnesota State.
First year Husky golfer Billy Barnhart (Cottage Grove) is the only other Husky in the top 25 on the leaderboard. He carded a pair of 79's on Sunday and is tied for 24th place.
