St. Paul, Minn. -- St. Cloud State senior safety Brian Kampa (Sartell) has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office Monday morning.

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State football game against Minnesota State University, Mankato will be re-broadcast tonight (Monday, Nov. 9) at 7:00 p.m. on Charter Channel 21. The UTVS broadcast of the game can also be watched via live streaming at www.utvs.com.

The St. Cloud State University football team has landed ten players on the 2009 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North Division All-Conference Team. The players honored include three first team selections. The All-Conference announcement was made this afternoon by the league office.

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State football team capped the 2009 regular season by shocking the undefeated Minnesota State Mavericks 26-21 Saturday afternoon in front of 4,057 fans at Husky Stadium.

Moorhead, Minn. –  St. Cloud State junior wide receiver Fred Williams (Milwaukee, WI) tied a school record with four touchdown catches and the Husky defense recorded four interceptions as the Huskies defeated Minnesota State University Moorhead 47-0 Saturday afternoon at Alex Nemzek Stadium in Moorhead.
