THIS WEEK'S RACE: The St. Cloud State men's and women’s cross country teams head to the 2009 Division II Central Regional race, which is slated for Saturday, Nov. 7, in Wayne, Neb.
REGIONAL INFORMATION: Wayne State College (Neb.) is hosting the 2009 Cross Country Central Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 7. For complete Regional information, click here.
LAST YEAR AT REGIONALS: In 2008, the St. Cloud State men placed 13th at the Central Regional race in Kearney, Neb., while the Husky women placed 18th.
IN THE POLLS: The 2009 St. Cloud State University men's cross country team was ranked ninth in last week’s Division II Men’s Central Region Cross Country Rankings. That marked the second time that the Huskies have been regionally ranked under the helm of current head coach Seth Mischke. St. Cloud State broke into the top-10 in the regional rankings last week after sporting a fourth place team finish at the 2009 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships in Bemidji, Minn., on Saturday, Oct. 24.
