Seth Mischke

Seth MischkeHead Coach

Seth Mischke is in his 11th season as the head coach of the men's and women's cross country programs at St. Cloud State in 2009-10. Mischke is also the head coach of SCSU's men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field programs. Prior to taking over the helm at SCSU, Mischke was a two-year assistant coach with former Husky head coach Tracy Dill.

Mischke is a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota. He was a member of the Golden Gophers men's team and participated in the decathlon. He placed third in the Big Ten meet in the decathlon as a senior. Mischke has completed his master's degree in physical education at St. Cloud State. He is a native of Worland, Wyoming and was a standout athlete at Worland High School - located in scenic north central Wyoming. Mischke resides with his wife Colleen, and their daughter Brooklyn and sons Tanner and Micah, in St. Cloud.

Mohamed Aden

Mohamed AdenAssistant Coach

Mohamed Aden begins his second season as the assistant coach for the Husky cross country team in 2009.  He comes to SCSU from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colo. where he earned a bachelors of science degree in exercise physiology and leisure studies in 2007.  While at Adams State, Aden was a star for the Grizzlies cross country and track & field teams.  In 2003 at the NCAA Division II cross country championships Aden finished ninth individually to gain All-America status and help pace Adams State to a national title.  A season later, he again earned All-America notice at the NCAA cross country championships. 

Aden was possibly even more dominant in track & field where he was runner-up at the 2004 NCAA outdoor championships in the 1,500 meters and fourth in the same event at the 2005 championships.  In all, Aden was a seven-time All-American during his tenure at Adams State. 

At SCSU he will work with both the cross country, and track and field teams.  He is currently working towards his masters degree in human performance and physical education through Adams State.

Travis Hoover

Travis HooverGraduate Assistant Coach

Travis Hoover is in his second season as a graduate assistant for St. Cloud State cross country in 2009 and is a 2005 graduate of St. Cloud State University where he received a bachelor's of arts in creative writing and minor in history.  From 2002-2005 he competed for the Huskies in cross country and track.  Following a stint of graduate studies in English, Travis worked as the manager of the Endurunce Shop, a small running store in downtown St. Cloud, and is currently working on a master's of science in sports management. A 2000 graduate of Apollo High School here in St. Cloud, Hoover played soccer and ran track during his prep career.
