The Amanda Schilling File

2009: Sophomore season...competed in all five races for the Huskies in 2009...ran a season best 24:36 on Sept. 19 at the St. Olaf Invite, finishing in 40th place...placed 52nd at the NSIC Championships on Oct. 24 (25:04.5).

2008: First year...Schilling charted her personal best race at the Minnesota Duluth Pine Hill Invite (25:43.5) on Oct. 11, 2008...placed 91st overall at the NSIC Championships (27:32.25)…competed in all but one race as a rookie.

High School: 2008 graduate of White Bear Lake Area High School…coached by Patty Percival…garnered two letters in cross country and four in track & field where she was All-Conference Honorable Mention…also played basketball and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Carole Schilling of White Bear Lake…says her father has had the greatest influence on her career…greatest sports thrill was anchoring her 4x800m relay team to a second place finish after running third the entire race…double majoring in international business and Spanish with a minor in finance.
