2010: Competed in five races for the Huskies during his sophomore season… Had a 25th place finish at the Saint John’s Invite, running a time of 28:33… Ran a personal best at Jim Drews Invite, crossing the finish line in 26:59.5 and finishing 150th overall… Finished 32nd at the NSIC Championships with a time of 27:35.01… Participated in the Central Regionals (10K), finishing the race in 33:51.72 and placing 60th overall… Member of the NSIC Academic Honor Roll.

2009: First Year... Did not appear in a race for the Huskies during his rookie season.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Spearfish H.S., where he played under coach LeAnn Vette...he was a four time letterwinner in cross-country and track & field for the Spartans…was named team MVP all four cross-country seasons…was named team captain for both sports.

Personal: Son of Hardey and Carol Hicks of Spearfish, S.D...names himself as the person with the greatest influence on his career…majoring in Aviation Pro Flight at SCSU.
