2008: Sophomore season...Allen had a break through season, charting a personal best time of 26:55.10 at the NSIC Championships and making the regional squad…finished 22nd at the NSIC Championships… competed in five of the six meets.

2007: First year…consistently led the SCSU men to the finish line…first Husky to finish in three consecutive races from 9/29 to 10/20…in first career race led Huskies with 152nd place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational on 9/29 finishing the 8K race in 28:37.80…first Husky to cross on the Minnesota State Open on 10/6 when he finished the 6K course in 21:23 for highest finish of the season in 15th place…earned 35th place tally at the 2007 NCC Championships on 10/20 when he finished the 8K course in a personal best time of 27:18.30…in the longest race of the season, the 10K North Central Region Championship on 11/3 finished in 135th place with a 38:30.73…Academic Honor Roll member.

High School: 2006 graduate of St. Cloud Cathedral High School…coached by Fred Rupp…four time letter winner and four sport athlete lettering in track & field, baseball and basketball as well…named All-Conference and All-Area in cross country…best time in the 5K was 16:50…lettered twice in track & field while also earning one All-Conference…personal bests were 50.2 (400m), 2:00.1 (800m), 4:24 (1600m), 6’3” (high jump), and 19’5” (long jump)…also lettered once each in baseball and basketball…was an Honor Roll student.

Personal: Son of Rick and Kathy Allen of Waite Park…lists high school coach Fred Rupp as the person with the greatest influence on his career…says winning the state team championship in cross country his senior year was his greatest sports thrill…also enjoys video games, skiing, kayaking and jet skiing in his free time…majoring in biology.
