2008: Junior season...Competed in all six meets, including the NSIC Championships and the 2008 North Central Regional Championships…posted a personal best time of 25:46.70 at the NSIC Championships.
2007: Sophomore season…consistently among the top two Huskies across the finish line…finished season with a 110th place finish at the North Central Region Championship on 11/3 stopping the clock at 24:16.87…began season at the Ron Pynn Invitational in Grand Forks, N.D. on 9/14 finishing 28th with a 20:26…at the Roy Griak Invite in Minneapolis on 9/29 crossed the finish line of the 6K race in 25:48.80 for a 122nd place tally…just missed a top-10 finish at the Minnesota State Open on 10/6 placing 12th in the 4K course at 17:19…collected a personal best time in the 6K at the NCC Championships on 10/20 finishing in 24:52.00 for 49th place.
2006: First year…ran first race at Roy Griak Invite where she finished 150th in a time of 26:30…consistently among the top SCSU finishers Borden finished 73rd overall in the SDSU classic and 23rd overall in the MSU Open with times of 21:22.30 and 16:58 respectively…at the NCC Champions finished third among SCSU runners and 41st overall in a time of 25:49.02…in season finale at the North Central Regional came in 126th place in a time of 26:43.10.
High School: 2006 graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School…coached by Roger Twigg…12 time letter winner garnering six each in track & field and cross country.
Personal: Daughter of Clifford and Debra Borden of Merrifield, Minnesota…also a member of the SCSU track & field team…majoring in Marketing with a Minor in Sociology.
