St. Cloud State Women's Basketball Schedule Released

St. Cloud, Minn. – The 2009-10 St. Cloud State women’s basketball schedule has been released. The Huskies will play 12 home games beginning with the season opener against the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2:00 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall.
St. Cloud State will play a 20-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) schedule beginning Dec. 4 when the Huskies play host to Winona State at 6:00 p.m. and on Dec. 5 when St. Cloud State welcomes Upper Iowa University to Halenbeck Hall at 4:00 p.m.
St. Cloud State will participate in the 2009 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Holiday Hoopsfest Nov. 28 and 29 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Huskies will play the University of Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Augustana College at 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
St. Cloud State posted a 22-9 overall record in 2008-09 and finished the NSIC race with a 12-8 record, good for sixth place. St. Cloud State went on to win the 2009 Sanford Health/NSIC Tournament and automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament, where the season ended with a 74-69 loss to Fort Lewis College.
Lori Fish is preparing for her second season as head coach of the Huskies. The St. Cloud, Minn., native has been a collegiate head coach for five seasons and has compiled an 84-62 overall record.
