2007-08: Junior season…played in all 28 games and started in 16…averaged 5.3 points and 2.7 rebounds…scored career high 18 points against Chico State on 12/28…shot .459 (50-109) from the field, .250 (6-24) from three point land, and .672 (41-61) from the free throw line…tallied 31 assists and 19 steals on the season…hit double figures four times, with the Huskies going 4-0 in those contests…18 point performance against Chico State was the game high for scoring…scored in all but three games.
2006-07: Sophomore season…Ellison started 11 games in a Husky uniform. The first player off the bench, she averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She scored her career-high 13 points against Mayville State on 12/20/06 and matched it against South Dakota on 2/24/07. Her career high, eight rebounds, came in the second game of the season against Colorado-Pueblo. Ellison averaged 19.5 minutes per game.
2005-06: A transfer from North Dakota State University...made appearances in 22 games for the Bison, scoring 77 points.
High School: a 2005 graduate of Central Senior High School in St Paul...a four-year starter averaging 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and 1.9 steals per game her senior season...finished high school career with over 1,000 points...recipient of Fred Kaiser Award...selected as State's top junior after averaging 12 points, six rebounds, and two assists/steals per game her junior season...a four-year letter winner in basketball, she also earned three letters in volleyball and one in track and field.
Personal: Married Antuan Yancy in August of 2006...daughter of Willie Ellison (deceased) and Michelle Leonard of St Paul...majoring in entrepreneurship with a minor in coaching.
