Megan Vogel
Assistant Coach
Megan Vogel was announced as the women’s assistant basketball coach on June 28 and will officially begin her duties on July 1, 2010.
A native of St. Peter, Minn., Vogel graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and was a four-year standout on the Jackrabbits women’s basketball team. Vogel left SDSU as the second all-time leading scorer with 1,850 points, third in all-time career three-point field goals with 194, and fifth all-time in career rebounding with 783. She led the Jackrabbits to the first ever Division I post season tournament, advancing to the WNIT quarterfinals. Vogel was an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American®, a top 30 Finalist for the 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, a 2007 NCAA Post-Graduate Degree Scholarship Recipient, and a team captain.
Upon her graduation from South Dakota State, Vogel was drafted 19th overall in the 2007 WNBA draft to the Washington Mystics. During her season with the Mystics, Vogel also assisted with scouting and film breakdown of opponents, and participated in various community service activities. In 2008, she played for WWK Donau Ries of the German 1st League and led her team in scoring, rebounding and free throw shooting.
Vogel’s coaching experience includes serving as a volunteer assistant at Minnesota State University, Mankato during the 2009-10 season, serving as a volunteer assistant at Saint Peter High School in 2009, and as a graduate assistant coach at South Dakota State during the 2007-08 season.
“We are excited to bring Megan on to the Husky coaching staff,” said Fish. “Her experience at the collegiate and professional level and the energy she exudes bring a new perspective to our program.”
Tiffany Moe
Graduate Assistant Coach
Tiffany Moe is a familiar name in NSIC women's basketball and will be the graduate assistant coach for the Huskies beginning in the fall of 2011.
Moe was a four-year starter at point guard for the Minnesota State University, Mankato Mavericks. She was a member of the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship team, was a two-time All-NSIC team pick and averaged 14.5 points and 6.2 assists per game.
Moe served as a volunteer assistant coach with the Mavericks during the 2009-10 season and was the Mankato West High School 9th grade girls' basketball head coach in 2010-11.
She earned a degree in sport management with minors in marketing and athletic coaching at MSU.
