2007-08: Junior season…named to the NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor roll…the Huskies top three-point threat, led the team with 46 three’s on the season…played in 27 games, and earned two starts…averaged 19.0 minutes/game…scored 7.5 points/game and grabbed 2.2 rebounds/game…shot .354 (62-175) from the floor, and .800 (32-40) from the free throw line…led SCSU with a .354 (46-130) mark from behind the three-point line…nailed career high 23 points on 11/17 against UW-Stout…that game was the first of six straight in double figures…hit double digits in eight games…was held scoreless just twice all season.
2006-07: Sophomore season…Cashman saw increased playing time in the final month of the 2006-07 season, as a critical member of the Husky defense. She averaged just under five minutes per game in 18 appearances. She averaged 1.8 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. Cashman charted her career-high seven points on 1/13/07 against Augustana. Cashman grabbed a career-high three rebounds against both Minnesota-Crookston and South Dakota.
2005-06: Red-shirt season due to injury.
High School: Cashman is a 2004 graduate of Faribault High School where she played for coach Brian Cherwinka…five-time basketball letterwinner…named All-Conference three times…All-State…team MVP…three-time volleyball letterwinner…All-Conference Honorable Mention…two-time letterwinner in track and fastpitch softball…named her high school’s Athlete of the Year…her greatest sports thrill was winning the Big 9 on Rochester Mayo’s court with her grandpa watching.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Janine Cashman of Faribault, MN…named Academic All-State in high school...nursing major at SCSU.
