High School: 2007 graduate of Verona Area High School…played for coach Angie Murphy…two sport athlete competing in basketball and track & field…a two time team Captain on the hardwood, was named second team All-Area by the Wisconsin State Journal and the Capital Times…an All-Conference performer as a junior and senior…two time Captain in track & field as well where qualified for the state meet in both the Shot Put and Discus…as a sophomore was fourth in state in Discus…as a junior was again fourth in the Discus and also eighth in the Shot Put.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Mandy Kitzman of Verona, Iowa…lists Serena Williams as her favorite sports personality and her father as the person with the greatest influence on her career…majoring in education at SCSU.
