MEN'S BASKETBALL: Huskies Ranked #11 in NABC Division II Preseason Poll

Kansas City, Mo. - The St. Cloud State men's basketball team was named to the Nation Association of Basketball Coaches Division II top 25 poll Wednesday afternoon.
The Huskies are ranked #11 in the poll after going 22-9 last season. St. Cloud State is coming off a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament championship before losing on a last second shot in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Augustana last season.
St. Cloud State moved up 11 spots from its #22 ranking at the end of the 2008-09 season.
BYU-Hawaii is picked as the top spot with six first place votes in the poll with Bellarmine (Ken.) behind in second with one first place vote.
The Huskies kick off the season on Nov. 20-21 when they host the Radisson Suite St. Cloud Hoopster Classic. St. Cloud State will take on St. John's University at 8 p.m. on Nov. 20 at Halenbeck Hall to kick off the 2009-10 season.
