MEN'S BASKETBALL: Huskies to Host a Meet the Team Social

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State men's basketball team will host a Meet the Team Social on Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Radisson Suites Hotel in downtown St. Cloud.
The social gets underway at 4:00 p.m. and is a chance to meet the coaches and players, and to talk Husky Basketball.
Husky Hoopster members will be treated to a free sandwich buffet and cash bar. Non Husky Hoopster members are welcome to attend and may become members at the social or opt to pay $10 for the buffet.
If you plan to attend, please call the Husky Basketball office at 320-308-3297 or 4253 to reserve your spot by Oct. 11.
The 2009-10 Husky Basketball team is ranked tenth in The Sports News NCAA Division II Preview. Last season the Huskies posted a 22-9 overall record, won the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament, and advanced to the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament. The NCAA tournament was the 11th in the history of the men's program and sixth since the 2000 season.
St. Cloud State will open the season on Friday, Nov. 20 in the 8:00 p.m. game of the Radisson Suite St. Cloud Hoopster Classic when the Huskies tip-off against crosstown rival, St. John's University.
