MEN'S BASKETBALL: Taylor Witt Gains Pre-Season Honor

St. Cloud, Minn. -- St. Cloud State junior guard Taylor Witt (Morris) has been named to The Sporting News Pre-Season Honorable Mention All-American team. He joins teammate senior Matt Schneck (Whitefish Bay, WI) on the team which was announced earlier this week. The notice regarding Schneck and the Huskies top 10 ranking was released on Monday.
Witt led the Huskies in scoring last season with a 15.9 points per game average. He also led the team with 161 assists. He was named the MVP of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament. In addition he earned All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team honors and was named to the NABC All-Central District Second team.
