Matt Reimer
Assistant Coach
Matt Reimer is in his 10th season as a full-time assistant coach for the Huskies and serves as the recruiting coordinator and director of operations and player personnel. Reimer also served for two seasons as a graduate assistant coach under Butch Raymond in 1995-96 and 1996-97, bringing his overall experience with the Huskies to 12 seasons.
Prior to SCSU, Reimer served as an assistant basketball coach at New London-Spicer High School for four seasons. He was involved with many other athletics; coached football and baseball, and was the head boys and girls golf coach.
He graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he played basketball for two years and was also a member of the Dutch golf team. Reimer played his prep basketball in Elkader, Iowa, where he was the captain of the 1987 Class 1A State runner-up basketball team.
Reimer completed his master's in athletic administration in 1997. Reimer, his wife Tracy, and daughters Brittany and Kitri, reside in Annandale.
